The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) has warned against a new fraudulent scheme purporting to recruit artisans for the institution.
According to the PHDC, the purported scheme circulating in the public domain claims that “artisans interested in becoming part of the Petroleum Hub Development Project must pay a non-refundable fee of GHC100 for an application form. It further states that after completing a six-month training programme, participants will have the opportunity for employment in PHDP construction”.
However, the PHDP has categorically denied any association with this scheme, adding “we wish to inform the general public that the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation does not charge any fee for job applications or related processes.”
“This claim is entirely false and is a deliberate attempt by fraudsters to deceive unsuspecting individuals”
