Nsoatreman FC announce Maxwell Konadu's exit after agreeing to join Black Leopards
Ghana Premier League side, Nsoatreman FC have announced the departure of Maxwell Konadu as the head coach of the club.The former Black Stars assistant joined the Nsoatre-based club before the start of the 2023/24 Ghana football season.However, after a successful spell with the club, Konadu has reached an agreement with South African second-tier side, Black Leopards to become the new head coach for the side.Confirming his exit, Nsoatreman FC thanked Konadu for his services having led the side to annexe their maiden FA Cup trophy and that they actively seeking a suitable replacement for Konadu to maintain their competitive momentum."Nsoatreman Football Club has mutually agreed with head coach Maxwell Konadu to end the contractual relationship between the parties. Ghana Premier League side, Nsoatreman FC have announced the departure of Maxwell Konadu as the head coach of the club.
The former Black Stars assistant joined the Nsoatre-based club before the start of the 2023/24 Ghana football season.
However, after a successful spell with the club, Konadu has reached an agreement with South African second-tier side, Black Leopards to become the new head coach for the side.
Confirming his exit, Nsoatreman FC thanked Konadu for his services having led the side to annexe their maiden FA Cup trophy and that they actively seeking a suitable replacement for Konadu to maintain their competitive momentum.
"Nsoatreman Football Club has mutually agreed with head coach Maxwell Konadu to end the contractual relationship between the parties. Maxwell Konadu won a historic FA Cup with the club and finished a respectable fourth position," the club said in a statement.
The club also added that they remain focused on their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign despite the exit of Maxwell Konadu.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Black Leopards, Tshifhiwa Thidiela, speaking to the media on Tuesday confirmed that they have reached an agreement with the former Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities gaffer to become the new head coach.
“It’s true we can confirm that we’ve reached an agreement with one Maxwell Konado,” Thidiela told reporters.
“He’s a Ghana national. I think he was also playing for the Ghanaian national team.
“He was coaching currently in Ghana Premier League. He just recently completed the Ghana FA Cup there. MTN FA Cup. He won it.
“The team he was with finish fourth. He’s 51 years old, and he’ll be here for, to reach an agreement for him to be here for three seasons," he added.
Maxwell Konadu's primary target is to qualify the side back to the PSL.
