The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the Yagaba-Kubori constituency and Minister for Youth and Sports, Ussif Mustapha, has donated an ambulance to the Kunkua Health Centre in the Mamprugu Moaduri District of the North East Region.
This gesture aims to enhance healthcare accessibility and delivery in the community and its surroundings.
Ussif Mustapha is committed to developing the Yagaba-Kubori constituency, focusing on the health sector, road infrastructure, electricity, school infrastructure, employment, and women’s empowerment.
North East Regional Minister, Yidana Zakaria, has praised Ussif Mustapha’s track record, urging the other five MPs in the region to emulate his exemplary work for the progress of the area.
Seeking re-election in the 2024 general elections, Mustapha appeals to constituents to renew his mandate in the December elections. He promises to continue supporting the youth and empowering women in the area.
Ussif Mustapha first took office on 7 January 2013, after defeating then-NDC MP Ibrahim Abdul Rauf Tanko in the 2012 elections. Although he lost to the same MP in 2016, he was, however, appointed as NSS boss in 2017. Mustapha reclaimed his seat in the 2020 elections.
Since 2020, Ussif Mustapha has provided significant support to constituents.
Following the ambulance donation, Ussif Mustapha urged voters to secure an overwhelming 85% victory for both parliamentary and presidential elections.
He pledged to deliver more developmental projects if retained in the 2024 elections.
