The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has assured the people of Ghana that they have come to the majority position to help and fight for the interest of the people of Ghana.
According to them, they will abolish nuisance taxes killing the people of Ghana with the elevation they have had.
“It is indeed true that we will use our new majority numbers to benefit Ghanaians by introducing private members bills to remove the e-levy to reduce the suffering of the people,” they said.
Adding that “it is also true that we will use our new majority to remove betting tax and other nuisance taxes”.
The NDC caucus acknowledged that the current government has made Ghana a high-tax country but they will protect businesses in the country.
