Ghana midfielder Forson Amankwah has attributed his successful transition to Norwich City to the support from his new teammates.The 21-year-old joined the Canaries on a four-year contract from RB Salzburg just before the start of the Championship season last weekend.Amankwah made his debut as a second-half substitute in a 2-0 defeat to Oxford United, where he impressed despite the loss.Three days later, he started in the Carabao Cup first-round match against Stevenage at Carrow Road. Amankwah played a crucial role in both the opening and final goals.“It was really good. For a club like Norwich, the standards are very high and today we had a good game. After the loss over the weekend, we showed up to win,” Amankwah stated post-match.“I am now settling and I always talk with my team mates. They’re helping me a lot especially in the game. I was really excited because it was my first game at Carrow Road. The most important thing is that we won.”Norwich City will aim for their first Championship win when they host Blackburn on Saturday, with Amankwah looking to build on his strong start.
