Leicester City submit £4 million bid to Crystal Palace for Ghana forward Jordan Ayew

English Premier League returnees Leicester City have made an official approach for the services of Ghana forward Jordan Ayew, the MailSport has reported.

The Foxes has offered Crystal Palace a deal worth £4 million to lure the Ghana international from the Premier League outfit in the ongoing transfer window.

Leicester City see the Black Stars attacker as a great addition to their squad as they seek to make a huge impact in the upcoming campaign.

The Ghana international enjoyed an amazing preseason, helping Palace to annex the StateSide Cup in America.

The 32-year-old has one year remaining on his contract with Crystal Palace. His future at the club has become uncertain following limited playing time under new manager Oliver Glasner.

Leicester City's interest in Ayew highlights their intent to strengthen their squad with experienced players as they make their Premier League comeback.

Ayew has been an integral member of Crystal Palace team since joining the club in 2018. The Ghana international initially joined on loan but his move was made permanent only a year later.

Last season, he racked up four goals and provided eight assists in 37 appearances for Palace.

Since joining the club, the Ghanaian attacker has amassed a total of 23 goals and 22 assists in 211 appearances.

Meanwhile, Ayew has reported attracted interest from Saudi Pro League clubs.
