Kotoko confirm two of their players are missing in USA

Kumasi Asante kotoko has confirmed that two of their footballers who are Sudanese nationals have left camp.

The club in a statement said they have informed law enforcement of the development and are working with them to ensure their safe return.

The statement urged fans of the Kumasi-based club to be calm as they work with the authorities to bring them back safely.

Reports were rife in the local media that two Sudanese nationals, Esmat AbdalHamid and Yoouef Yagoub had gone missing from their camp of the club.

The two, a striker and a defender were said to have left camp at dawn when every other member of the team was sleeping.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko is in the United States of America to play DC United.
