Asante Kotoko is pleased to announce to our supporters and the football community that Head Coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, will return to the Adako Jachie training ground this week following his recovery from a successful surgery five weeks ago.
During his absence, Assistant Coach David Dickson Ocloo assumed managerial responsibilities, leading the technical team to a 2-1 victory over Hearts of Oak in the inaugural Democracy Cup.
The squad assembled this morning to begin pre-season preparations for the upcoming season. The return of the Head Coach is a significant boost to the club as new players integrate and adapt to Dr. Ogum’s comprehensive football philosophy.
We will commence our 2024/2025 league campaign with an away match in Tamale, where we will face Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
