St Patrick’s Athletic manager, Stephen Kenny, believes Ghana’s Joseph Anang is a better goalkeeper now on his return to the club after his previous loan spell with the Irish club.The 24-year-old joined St Pat's on loan from West Ham in January 2022, making 30 appearances and keeping 12 clean sheets while playing every minute of every game before being recalled.Following the expiration of his contract with the English Premier League club, he signed a permanent two-and-a-half-year deal with St Pat's."Joseph is a goalkeeper with quite a high ceiling, he had a successful spell here two years ago and subsequently has had two years day in day out with West Ham's First Team, training at a very high level alongside two senior international goalkeepers,” Stephen Kenny told the club.“The level he's been training at will really have helped his development.“I feel he's coming back to St Pat's a better goalkeeper, at 24 years of age, his best years are all ahead of him.”
