John Mahama joins Assemblies of God for 31st night crossover in Tamale

The Assemblies of God, Sanctuary of Wind and Fire in Tamale, is preparing to host one of the most anticipated 31st Night crossover services of the year, themed “Exodus 2024.”

This significant event will feature His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the President-Elect, and his wife, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, as Special Guests of Honour.

Slated for December 30th and 31st, the two-day gathering will be led by host pastor Aaron L. Fant and promises a spiritual experience filled with worship, prayer, and prophetic declarations.

The 31st Night, or Watch Night service, is deeply rooted in the Ghanaian Christian tradition, a sacred moment when believers gather to reflect on the year gone by and enter the new year with renewed faith and optimism.

This annual ritual transcends denominational lines, uniting Catholics, Pentecostals, Methodists, and Charismatics in a shared quest for divine favour.

The atmosphere is often electric, with congregants dressed in white to symbolize purity and new beginnings, raising their voices in jubilant praise and fervent prayer.

It is a night where faith takes centre stage, offering a spiritual reset and the hope of new opportunities.
