Highly-rated Nations FC Razak Simpson has denied rejecting a move to Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window.Simpson emerged as one of the best defenders in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign.He was a standout performer for Nations FC, who finished seventh in their debut appearances in the Ghanaian top-flight.The 26-year-old defender has emerged as a top transfer target for several clubs including Kotoko and Hearts of Oak due to his swashbuckling performance last season.Reports went rife that the highly-rated defender rejected an opportunity to join the Porcupine Warriors this summer.But Simpson in an interview with Kessben FM, as followed by Footballghana.com has denied such reports and has therefore called on the public to treat it with the needed contempt it deserves.Asked if he has rejected a move to Kotoko because of pressure, he said, “Then it’s not me. I haven’t said that. Kotoko is a club every footballer would love to play so why will I decline such opportunity. It’s never true I rejected Kotoko because of pressure”Nations FC have already commenced preparation for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign next month.
