Ghana’s C. K Tedam University of Technology & Applied Sciences is celebrating a significant achievement as the Team has successfully qualified for the Round of Sixteen at this year’s ENACTUS World Cup in Kazakhstan

The competition features 29 countries competing for the prestigious title, which recognizes the most innovative projects aimed at positively impacting and empowering communities worldwide.

In a message shared on Facebook, former Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, Ras Mubarak, expressed his congratulations to the team. “Congratulations to Team Ghana for qualifying to the Round of Sixteen,” he stated, acknowledging the hard work and dedication that has brought them this far.

Out of the original 29 countries, 13 have already been eliminated, showcasing the intense competition. Ghana is represented by the C.K. Tedam University of Technology & Applied Sciences, which has proven itself on the international stage.

This marks the fourth time the university has represented Ghana at the ENACTUS World Cup, having previously triumphed over other renowned Ghanaian institutions like the University of Ghana (UG) and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

As Team Ghana prepares to face competitors from South Korea, India, and Puerto Rico in their next group stage, the anticipation grows.

Ras Mubarak encouraged Ghanaians to keep the team in their thoughts and prayers, saying, “Let’s keep them in our thoughts and prayers and hope they win the cash prize of $1 million.”

The ENACTUS World Cup is an annual international competition organized by ENACTUS (formerly known as SIFE, or Students in Free Enterprise), a global non-profit organization that encourages university students to engage in social entrepreneurship and community service.

The event brings together students from universities around the world to present their entrepreneurial projects that aim to address social, economic, and environmental issues within their communities.
