VfL Osnabrück has secured the services of 19-year-old German-born Ghanaian defender Kofi Jeremy Amoako on loan from VfL Wolfsburg until the end of the season.

After a challenging start to the season, with two losses placing them at the bottom of the league table, Osnabrück aims to strengthen their squad with Amoako's defensive skills.

Amoako, who has made two brief appearances in the Bundesliga, is a versatile defensive midfielder capable of playing as a central defender. He captained Wolfsburg’s U-19 team, where he contributed five assists in 21 games. With experience in both the U-17 and U-19 Bundesliga, as well as being a DFB U-19 international, Kofi Amoako is expected to bring much-needed stability to Osnabrück’s defense.

The young defender is set to join his new teammates for training on Tuesday as Osnabrück looks to turn their season around. Kofi Amoako will likely make his debut in VfL Osnabrück's DFB Pokal game against Freiburg on August 17th.
