National Sports Authority (NSA) spokesman Charles Amofa has assured Ghanaians that the Baba Yara Stadium will be ready to host the Black Stars' AFCON qualifiers.Responding to concerns about the stadium being used for entertainment activities, Amofa confirmed that the venue will be prepared for football activities in time for the upcoming matches.Ghana is scheduled to play Angola on September 5th at the Baba Yara Stadium, followed by an away match against Niger on September 9th. Amofa emphasized the NSA's commitment to restoring the pitch to its optimal condition within the next 15 working days."AFCON is just around the corner, and we have a month to prepare. I can assure the general public that we will restore the pitch to normalcy," Amofa told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com.He highlighted the NSA's diligent work, stating, "Sports Authority we work from Sunday to Sunday pitch management people everyday they are here we are doing fertilization, we are doing watering we are doing everything that work has been given to us by the government."Amofa's assurance comes as a relief to football fans who were concerned about the stadium's readiness for the crucial qualifier.
