Energy Minister Designate, John Abdulai Jinapor, is of the view that the New Patriotic Party has not learnt from their mistakes that led them to a defeat in the 2024 elections.
He says the political party continues to peddle lies and take the people of Ghana for granted even in opposition.
To him, if the political party fails to learn from their failure, it may have to stay in opposition for long as it will continue to lose Ghanaians who think through issues.
His comments come in the wake of claims that he travelled on a private jet that charges fourteen thousand Euros per hour to Nigeria.
He explained that he has not travelled at the expense of the country since he was announced as the energy Minister-designate.
His post shared via social media read “It looks like these NPP minions and propagandists have not learnt any lessons from their abbysmal and embarrassing 38% defeat.
For the records, I have not spent one GHS1 of state funds on any trip since my nomination and subsequent vetting.
With this attitude, I am pretty sure they are bound for a 28% mark in 2028, if not less”.
