Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya says his outfit will not depend on individuals ahead of the new Ghana Premier League campaign.The Porcupine Warriors faced challenges last season, finishing sixth in the domestic top-flight, where Samartex emerged as champions.Following a disappointing campaign, the Ghanaian giants parted company with over 20 players to make way for new additions.So far, the former Ghana Premier League champions has recruited 12 players ahead of the new campaign.Speaking to the media, Baba Yahaya, one of the few players to have remained at Kotoko disclosed his outfit are building an all-round team to compete in the upcoming season.“We are building an all-round team for next season. We are not going to rely on individual players. We don’t have to depend on one particular striker. We are not building the team on one particular person. We should all be able to score when the going gets tough” he said.Asante Kotoko are currently preparing for the 2024/25 campaign. Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya says his outfit will not depend on individuals ahead of the new Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors faced challenges last season, finishing sixth in the domestic top-flight, where Samartex emerged as champions.

Following a disappointing campaign, the Ghanaian giants parted company with over 20 players to make way for new additions.

So far, the former Ghana Premier League champions has recruited 12 players ahead of the new campaign.

Speaking to the media, Baba Yahaya, one of the few players to have remained at Kotoko disclosed his outfit are building an all-round team to compete in the upcoming season.

“We are building an all-round team for next season. We are not going to rely on individual players. We don’t have to depend on one particular striker. We are not building the team on one particular person. We should all be able to score when the going gets tough” he said.

Asante Kotoko are currently preparing for the 2024/25 campaign. They have already made it two wins in the preseason friendly games.

The Porcupine will take on Medeama on Friday as part of the inauguration of the newly built TNA Park in Tarkwa.

Kotoko will begin their Premier League campaign against Karela United.
