Zlatan Ibile: Don’t mock people for wearing fake designers

Singer and fashion entrepreneur Zlatan Ibile has criticised his colleagues for shaming individuals who wear fake designer products, urging a more supportive approach.

Zlatan argued that mocking people who cannot afford original designer items is unfair, adding, “People wey dey buy fake, make dem dey buy am until dey get money to buy original. Person wey wear fake today, go wear original tomorrow.”

His remarks follow recent incidents where celebrities were publicly called out for wearing fake designer brands.

Rahman Jago recently criticised Oritse Femi for donning fake high fashion, while Olayinka Ashogbon accused Lyta of wearing counterfeit designs from his clothing line.
