McDan Aviation, a subsidiary of the McDan Group of Companies, has expressed disappointment in the Ghana Airport Company Limited for closing down a private jet terminal they operate at the Kotoka International Airport.
Although they acknowledge their financial responsibilities concerning the use and operation of the Fixed Base Operator, they explain that they have made significant payments previously.
They indicate that even last week, they made significant payments with an agreement that they will continue payments from January 2025.
McDan Aviation denied owing $3 million, as reported by several media outlets.
What is even more worrying is the fact that payments had to be halted because they are in court over a disputed land provided to them by the Ghana Airport Company; something the company is aware of.
Regardless, McDan Aviation says they are open to engagement to achieve a favourable resolution.
