Werder Bremen right place for me to continue my development – Derrick Kohn
Ghanaian defender Derrick Kohn believes Werder Bremen is the right place for him to continue his development.The 25-year-old left-back has joined the German Bundesliga side from Turkish Süper Lig club Galatasaray on a season-long loan.There is an option for Werder Bremen to sign the Turkish champion on a permanent deal.Derrick Kohn said his conversations with relevant people convinced him joining Werder Bremen is the right step.“Werder is the right place for me to continue developing while playing at a very high level in the Bundesliga. I was fully on board after the talks with Ole Werner, Johannes Jahns and Peter Niemeyer, and I’m really looking forward to my time at Werder.”Last season, Derrick Köhn made 13 appearances in the Turkish Süper Lig.He scored one goal and provided two assists since joining in February from Hannover.Köhn has not yet been capped by Germany and is eligible to play for Ghana at the senior level.
