We don’t need gender equality, allow Men To Be Men -Counselor Charlotte Oduro

Controversial  Renowned Ghanaian marriage Counselor, Dr Mrs Charlotte Oduro has disclosed that that the debate for gender equality is needless indicating there is no need to compare women to men because it is needless.

During an interview on Peace FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Counselor Charlotte Oduro trashed the popular quote that “what men can do, women can do it better”, indicating that to her, women can never be like men because men have been structured to be the head.

She stated that as a woman, she is not in competition with any man. She however urged women to work hard and make their own but not with the mindset that they compete with men.

“Women can’t do anything. Who brought that quote that what men can do, women can do it better? we can’t do anything. The man is the head of the family. He should take care of me. I am not in competition with him. Women can work and get their money but not in pride or competition”.

“A man will always be a man. That has been the structure. We came to meet it. So what is the competition for? Women should allow men to pamper them and stop gender equality. I don’t need to be equal with a man. What are we looking for? I can never be equal to a man”. She argued.
