VIDEO: The day Akufo-Addo referred to Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey as ”madam president”

There are rare occasions in the career ladder for everyone irrespective of your beginning, that can humble you and also make you feel proud.

One of such moments was when Ghana’s Foreign Minister, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey chaired the 79th session of the UN General Assembly as “Madam President”.

It was the turn of President Akufo-Addo to deliver his final UN Address and she was introduced by non-other than Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey to deliver his address.

In response Akufo-Addo addressed Ayorkor Botchwey as ”madam president” before going on to deliver his speech:
