President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has denied allegations that he controls referees.In the past couple of seasons, there have been allegations that the Ghana FA boss influences some referees in certain matches to favour some clubs of interest.Addressing the press in Sunyani on Friday, August 9, Kurt Okraku stressed that this allegation is completely false.He urged Ghanaians to disregard the allegation.“The claim that the GFA or myself control or have interest in some referees is completely false and must be disregarded. It's just a creation of non-existent theory,” Kurt Okraku said.At the press conference, Kurt Okraku assured of his administration’s commitment to improving football in the country.He said clubs will continue to receive support from the Ghana Football Association.
