Former President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwasi Nyantakyi, has recalled how he became a public enemy as a result of Anas’ Number 12 documentary.
According to him, people who were very close to him refused any form of association with him, and that taught him several lessons.
Kwasi Nyantakyi says currently, nothing shocks him anymore because he has seen the worst after the Anas documentary.
“I believe there was more to it. Men and women who followed the issue. That time I became a public enemy and people didn’t want to associate with me. I’ve come to understand that people come to you based on their interests. If they can’t benefit from you, they will not associate with you,” he said.
He cited a recent comment by the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, who said people who came to him when he had power before the 2016 election but deserted him during his time in opposition as an indication that people need to know that no one is for them.
