Former Deputy Finance Minister, Kwaku Kwarteng believes the New Patriotic Party has what it takes to turn the country around.
He says his recent statement on the state of the country is because he believes the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has the power to make things better in the West African country.
However, there will be a need for the political party to acknowledge the system’s failure and provide the people of Ghana with a signal that things can get better.
“I am focusing on my party because I sincerely believe that NPP can turn this country around and that if we face these realities and listen to the concerns of business and concerns of individuals, we should ask ourselves: Where are we now and what is the path to recovery?
If we ask these questions fairly and honestly, then we come to no other conclusion than that the reforms should start now,” he said.
