Ghana international Baba Abdul Rahman has started pre-season with Greek outfit PAOK Thessaloniki ahead of the 2024/25 season.The Black Stars defender was given time off to recover after helping the club to clinch the Greek top-flight title in the just concluded campaign.However, the former Chelsea defender has cut short his holiday in Ghana as he returns to begin preparation for the upcoming season.PAOK will be involved in European football next season after securing qualification to the UEFA Champions League following their success in the Greek top-flight.The Greek champions will face the winner of the first round of qualifiers between Borac Banja Luka and Egnatia on July 23rd or 24th in Toumba. The second leg will be played a week later away from home.The former Chelsea left-back was instrumental for PAOK last season, scoring six goals and providing five assists across competitions for his side. He was the highest-scoring defender in the Greek Super League.Baba Rahman has attracted several interest from clubs in Europe including Premier League outfit Brentford, and Ipswich Town.Luton Town, who suffered relegation from the Premier League in the just ended season are also after the services of the Ghanaian defender.
