Forgive me- Radio Presenter Begs Bawumia, NPP

Tamale-based controversial radio presenter, Halik Musah popularly known to the local people as DJ Tell, has asked Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party  (NPP) for forgiveness.

His apology follows his countless attacks on the NPP for several years without any member of the party insulting or attacking him in retaliation.

He posted on his Facebook wall “For several years, I called and labelled the vice president and his government as the most useless government, criticize them to a point Mr Mahama called me and thank me for standing by the NDC. The vice president had all the powers to send people to attack me at my workplace or throw me into cells. He didn’t do that. Instead, he came to tamale and called me for dinner through Chairman Samba and Dr Antta,a great mark of tolerance and good leadership. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia I’m Sorry.”

DJ Tell claimed that he was attacked by the NDC for criticizing former president John Mahama within the space of 5 minutes, and because of that he was sacked from Radio Tamale.

He accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC), for his dismissal from Radio Tamale.

“I was attacked by just nine 9 NDC thugs for criticizing Mahama. The next day they called my station manager and asked him to suspend me and stop me from coming on the radio because they believed I hate Mahama. Management listened to the 9 NDC thugs and asked me to stay away.”
