Hearts of Oak midfielder Raphael Amponsah believes that every player in Ghana aspires to play for the Phobians due to their prestigious reputation.The 22-year-old explains that this motivates every team to raise their game against Hearts of Oak, making matches particularly challenging for them.Hearts of Oak, who fought to avoid relegation last season, are currently building a new team for the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign.Speaking ahead of the upcoming season, Raphael Amponsah said it is difficult to play in the Ghana Premier League.“Playing in the Ghana Premier League is difficult. Every team brings its A-game when playing against Hearts of Oak. They put in extra effort because they are facing one of their toughest opponents in the league.“There is no player in Ghana who would say they don’t want to play for Hearts of Oak. So, when they are playing against Hearts of Oak, whatever they do, they will do it with full commitment.”Last season, Raphael Amponsah featured in nine games and scored one goal.
