Son of Bishop Salifu Amoako, Erald Salifu Amoako has been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Center.
However, the medical report cited by MyNewGh.com indicates that he cannot be subjected to any form of interrogation for the time being.
“He is currently mobilizing non-weight bearing on his right leg. He was discharged on 28 October 2024 to be reviewed on O.P.D basis. He is currently not fit to be sent to the police station for interrogation. When he is done with treatment, I will inform you accordingly,” the doctor wrote.
It will be remembered that Erald, on October 12, 2024, killed two twelve-year-old girls while driving at a top speed at East Legon in Accra.
The two girls who were among five people in their car had Erald ramming his car into theirs, breaking an electricity pole and burning them beyond recognition.
His parents, Bishop Salifu Amoako and his mother were subsequently arrested and arraigned but were granted bail.
