The Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd. (CBG) has resumed foreign exchange services after the Bank of Ghana (BoG) restored its trading license on 4 December 2024, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
CBG announced that customers can now access its foreign exchange services, including buying and selling foreign currencies, across all branches nationwide, following weeks of collaboration with the central bank.
The bank apologised for the inconvenience caused by the suspension, expressing gratitude to customers for their patience, and assured them of consistent efforts to provide secure and reliable banking services.
CBG reaffirmed its commitment to offering exceptional banking experiences tailored to stakeholders’ needs while strictly adhering to compliance standards to ensure stability and trust in its operations.
