Ghana coach, Otto Addo has cautioned his side to stay focused ahead of their game against Niger.

The Black Stars will take on the Super Eagles in their second Group F game later today at the Stade Municipal de Berkane in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Ghana opened their qualifying games with a shocking 1-0 defeat against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium last week Thursday.

The team is aiming to claim their first win and speaking ahead of the clash, the former Borussia Dortmund gaffer said his side is favourite but cautioned that they will have to stay focused against the Nigeriens.

"This game, we are surely the favourites and I am very, very confident that we will win this game. But in football, anything can happen," the 45-year-old said.

"We saw it last time against Angola, the way the game looked. I never thought we would lose this game, but in football now there is no weak opponent.

"So we have to be focused, we have to be concentrated, we have to do our job. Then the probability that we win is very, very high," he added.
