2024 CAF Women’s Champions qualifiers: We’ve not been at our best attacking-wise – Hasaacas Ladies coach Emmanuel Mensah

Hasaacas Ladies Assistant Coach Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah has admitted that his team has not been at their best attacking-wise in the 2024 WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions qualifiers. He made this statement after their 3-0 defeat to Edo Queens of Nigeria in their second group game on Wednesday. The Ghanaian champions now sit third in Group B with just one point after the defeat and are on the verge of elimination from the ongoing tournament in Côte d'Ivoire.“Football is very chaotic. If you're conceding and you don't keep your head up, you keep on conceding. And I think the girls gave up too early. They should have still fought till the end, but they gave up too early.“The other thing, yes, it's not the best. Two games without being able to score shows that attacking-wise we have not been at our best. It's unfortunate because that is not Hasaacas' standard.“We need to work on that and in our next game, try to score goals.”Hasaacas will face Mauritania’s AS Garde National on Saturday in their final group game and need to win convincingly while hoping the results in the other group go their way.
